About The Jay Tones

THE JAY TONES - Husband & Wife team, Joe & Juene are a dynamic duo currently performing on the Sydney club circuit in Australia and at venues on the New South Wales North and South Coast. The genre of music ranges from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's 90's to current times. Party audiences can enjoy New Vogue Sequence Dancing, Old time Rock n Roll, Disco Dance, Cha Cha Cha, Twist, Groove and Boot Scoot to music in a repertoire that covers over 300 songs. The sound is live, crisp and big without being loud or overpowering and the choice of music appeals to all generations. No pre-recorded back up tapes are used in the live performance, enabling the act to be versatile and original.

JOE has been in the industry for over 35 years and has been the lead singer in various Australian bands such as Gun Smith, Big Swifty, The Radiators, Da Syndicate, Stud, Gungadin, and Aleph, during the late 60's and 70's. In the 80's he toured and performed as a solo artist in various clubs and pubs on the mid north coast of New South Wales and in Sydney. He is a very versatile performer and can sing any genre of music.

JUENE adds back-up vocals and plays live keyboard giving the whole performance a live-time realistic sound. She is also adept at songwriting and some of her compositions are received enthusiastically by the crowd. She also played Keys as a member of the 'Rock & Pop with Attitude" Sydney Band ReVamp.

THE JAY TONES sound is big and full and has dancers on the floor begging for more! The Jay Tones are emerging as a leading force in AUSTRALIAN NEW VOGUE DANCE MUSIC. Their understanding, conversion and interperation of modern tunes to sequence dance phasing is the underlaying reason for their huge success as a NEW VOGUE DANCE BAND.  

THE JAY TONES would be an asset to any Corporate Event, Club, Restaurant or Venue that requires a professional act with fun and style.
